Among the spinning-rod listings documented in this review, the older Bass Pro GX2 listing showed the largest single five-star count: 322 of 444 ratings. We did not add counts across retailers, combine review pools, or use owner comments to increase the five-star number.
We examined positive and adverse owner reports for context. The 32 one-star ratings in the Bass Pro pool remain visible here; they are not silently discarded or subtracted from a manufactured quality score.
What the numbers mean
“Consensus Support” reports the number of five-star ratings on the cited retailer listing. The 72.5% share is 322 divided by 444. The same pool contains 32 one-star ratings. None of these counts is a measured failure rate or a score from 0 to 100.
Product and model limits
Bass Pro’s high-volume review pool is attached to an older GX2 listing and may cover multiple rod options or generations. The present-day 7-foot medium one-piece rod, USGXSP701M, is a representative purchase option, not the proven source of all 322 five-star ratings.
